Really?

I wrote a post last month about my colleagues’ suggestion to help me remember the word Specialty, rather than speciality

On further investigation they actually mean the same thing, just one is English English and one is American English!

So now I have ‘special tea’ in my head, for no good reason…

Even after 16 years in the country I am still getting caught out by the language.

Next weekend I’m going to put on my wellies, trousers and jumper and go out and potter in the estate. Eat cucumber sandwiches and make a nice spotted dick (which will have no coconut in it at all!)
